Columbia-Staver’s range of heat sinks defines the state of the art; a complete command of heat transfer theory incorporated in products designed to meet the diverse needs of industry.
The effectiveness of a heat sink depends on its finish, surface area, mounting position, and its direction in relation to the other components on a printed circuit board. Any thermal resistance figures given assume a matt black finish and vertical positioning. Those for stamped heat sinks include the transistor interface resistance, but not the thermal resistance of any insulating washers.
